The images I paint balance on the border between figuration and abstraction. The works I have been focusing on lately are landscapes of my inner experiences, emotions and all that is so present in my life, despite the lack of visual representation. When creating the first layer of a painting, I try to create intuitively without any prior analysis or plan. I then move on to a more conscious interpretation of the work by applying successive layers of paint. In this way I connect my subconscious and consciousness, allowing them to enter into dialogue with each other.
